About our Groups
We hold a range of regular Groups in and around Colchester and Ipswich. We come together as a community to chat through challenges, what's gone well, we cover topics such as sensory issues, the diagnosis process, relationships, how to deal with feeling overwhelmed and a great deal more. If you'd like to come along, book your place on our events page or ping us an email to ask any questions.
Our online meet ups take a similar format as the in person meet ups, although a little more structured and shorter in length. They are held in the evenings, via Zoom.

Our Group Formats Explained
We offer a range of groups to support different needs, preferences, and stages of life. Some are informal and activity-based, others offer peer support through shared experiences, and some are more focused with set topics and structured sessions.
While not every group will suit everyone, we’re here to help you find the right fit. Whether you're looking for connection, guidance, or just a space to be heard – there's a place for you.

The Welcome Hub
A monthly online session where you can meet the team, ask questions about our groups and support options, and get to know us in a relaxed, informal space. Perfect if you're new and want to feel more familiar before joining a group.

In Person Peer Support
Small groups of 6–10 people with no set topics – conversations are led by the group and shaped by shared experiences. A welcoming, supportive space to talk and connect face-to-face.

Online Peer Support
Just like our in-person groups, but from the comfort of your own space. No pressure to turn your camera on – you're welcome to join in through voice or chat.

Young Women's Group
A supportive space for young women to connect and share experiences relevant to their life stage. Less focus on parenting or menopause – more on the issues that matter to you right now.

Creative Connections
Relaxed drop-in sessions centered around a shared activity or craft. Bring your own project or join in with the materials we provide – it's all about connecting through creativity.

1:1 Support
Personalised support tailored to you, offered through one-off sessions or ongoing support over 4–6 sessions. Whether you're looking for guidance, clarity, or space to reflect, our team is here to support you one-to-one.
Our Venues
Our Groups meet in a range of venues within the community; tap on each one below for full details.
The Traffic Light System
We know that joining a new group or session can feel daunting – especially if you’re not sure what to expect. That’s why we use a simple traffic light system to help you quickly understand the feel and format of each session.
Each color gives you a sense of how the group runs – from relaxed drop-ins to more focused and structured spaces. This way, you can choose what suits you best, whether you're looking for something casual, something with a bit more continuity, or a group that follows a set path.
Our aim is to create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and informed before they even walk through the door.

Green Groups
These informal sessions are open to everyone and easy to join at any point. There’s no fixed structure – each week is different, and sessions might include craft activities, workshops, or guest talks. Come along whenever it suits you; there’s no pressure and no commitment.
Orange Groups

These groups have a bit more structure and may include people who’ve been attended before. Don’t worry new faces are always welcome! There’s no set agenda and conversations are guided by the group. The group will be a mix of women, experiences and life stages
Blue Groups

Blue groups are designed to meet specific needs and communication styles. They run for a set number of sessions with the same group of people, allowing for consistency and trust to build. Topics are planned in advance and sessions often take a coaching-style approach, offering targeted, intentional support.
