Welcome to The Umbrella Hub, a not-for-profit Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to creating a safe, judgement-free space for women to explore their neurodiversity through creativity.
We are passionate about fostering an inclusive environment where women from all walks of life can connect, share their stories, and feel seen. Through our range of in-person and online meetups, talks, workshops, coaching, and signposting, we empower women to embrace their differences, celebrate their individuality, and be unapologetically themselves.
As part of our growing community focus, we also offer wellness-focused sessions designed to support mental, emotional, and physical wellbeing, providing tools and practices that nurture self-care and balance.
In addition, our Young Women’s Group offers a supportive space for younger women to explore their identities, build confidence, and form meaningful connections through guided activities and peer-led discussions.
At The Umbrella Hub, every woman is welcomed, supported, and celebrated, just as she is.

New to Our Groups? Let’s Find the Right Fit for You!
If you’re thinking about joining one of our groups for the first time, we’d love to help you find the one that’s right for you. Just fill out a short form to tell us a bit about yourself and what kind of support you’re looking for.
Once we’ve heard from you, someone from our team will get in touch to suggest the best group for your needs and help you with the next steps.
Why We Use a Traffic Light System
We know that joining a new group or session can feel daunting – especially if you’re not sure what to expect. That’s why we use a simple traffic light system to help you quickly understand the feel and format of each session.
Each color gives you a sense of how the group runs – from relaxed drop-ins to more focused and structured spaces. This way, you can choose what suits you best, whether you're looking for something casual, something with a bit more continuity, or a group that follows a set path.
Our aim is to create safe, welcoming spaces where everyone feels comfortable, supported, and informed before they even walk through the door.

Green Groups
These informal sessions are open to everyone and easy to join at any point. There’s no fixed structure – each week is different, and sessions might include craft activities, workshops, or guest talks. Come along whenever it suits you; there’s no pressure and no commitment.
Orange Groups

These groups have a bit more structure and may include people who’ve been attended before. Don’t worry new faces are always welcome! There’s no set agenda and conversations are guided by the group. The group will be a mix of women, experiences and life stages
Blue Groups

Blue groups are designed to meet specific needs and communication styles. They run for a set number of sessions with the same group of people, allowing for consistency and trust to build. Topics are planned in advance and sessions often take a coaching-style approach, offering targeted, intentional support.
